About the Owner
I am a licensed social worker with nearly two decades of experience helping individuals and their families navigate complex healthcare systems. Though I have worked with older adults for my entire career, I have devoted the past six years to specializing in working exclusively with older adults and their loved ones during some of life’s most challenging transitions.
I hold advanced certifications from the National Association of Social Workers, including the Clinical Social Worker in Gerontology (CSW-G) and Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager (C-ASWCM).
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with families in hospital and community settings, helping them understand medical conditions, levels of care, and what it truly takes to keep their loved ones safe and supported.
As both a professional and member of this community, my work is deeply personal. Chesapeake Crossing Senior Care Advisors was built out of my desire to give back—to the empower the very families I live and work alongside with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the elder care journey with confidence.
I approach this work a little differently. I don’t see barriers—I see opportunities to think creatively. When families are told “no” I help them find another path forward. Whether that is navigating complex systems, uncovering overlooked options or asking the right questions, I am committed to finding solutions that truly meet each family’s unique needs.
And if ever I don’t have an answer, I will find it. That persistence and passion combined with years of hands-on experience allows me to guide families with both confidence and compassion.
My goal is simple: to make a complicated system feel more manageable, reduce stress and to ensure no family has to figure it out alone.
